Accurate partnered with Konfir, a UK Government-Certified provider of Instant Employment and Income Verification in 2024 - with the goal of integrating their Instant Employment Verification into Accurate’s established screening processes. This integration provides a fast, user-friendly verification, and consent driven journey for candidates, whilst delivering on reductions in time-to-hire as well as automating the collection and verification of a candidate’s employment history. Konfir verifies a candidate’s employment history by using real-time connections to authoritative data sources, including Banking, HMRC and Payroll data - allowing candidates to connect to data sources of their choice upon completion of their screening form.
Throughout the pilot phase with clients, the Konfir integration displayed a clear value-add to Accurate’s background screening processes - greatly improving turnaround times and reducing the admin burden on screening teams. Clients that took part in the pilot showed positive results early on, with a candidate conversion rate of 90%, and an activity verification rate of 67%. Alongside these initial results, 77% of candidates also completed their verification within 30 minutes of receiving their request. Combined, it delivered a dramatic impact to pilot clients’ onboarding processes - with access to instant verified results, onboarding timeframes dropped on average by over a week, greatly accelerating time-to-hire.
By implementing Konfir’s Instant Employment Verification as part of the standard Accurate offering, clients’ now have access to the integration from day one - giving them the insights they need to make confident hiring decisions.
