The Konfir API is here!
Today marks a new era for Konfir. With the launch of our Open API, you’ll be able to harness the power of real-time employment data. This is our first step towards being API first, so watch for future developments.
Built from the ground up, our modern RESTful API will open up new and exciting ways to access employment information about your candidates, giving you more control over how and where your data is manipulated, processed, and displayed.
Our out-of-the-box Konsole is still up and running as usual, so there’s no need to fret if that’s how you prefer to use Konfir.
What can I expect by using the Konfir API?

How does it work?
- Get Konfir URL: Your application sends a request to the Konfir REST API to generate a unique candidate URL
- Launch Konfir URL: Your application redirects to or embeds the Konfir URL to launch Konfir.
- Connecting to Data Sources: Your candidate provides consent and authenticates with their employment data providers over a secure and encrypted connection
- Requests: Our application executes your requests. We consolidate, transform, and securely (but temporarily) store the data from the user’s employment data providers so it can be sent to your application
- Response: Our application returns cleansed, categorised, and interpreted employment information to your application via webhooks or can be retrieved by your application via a GET endpoint at a time convenient for you.
How do I review the results?
We have a few ways you can review the connected employment data. The best part? It’s always instant.
Our webhooks and endpoints return data in a matter of seconds. And, if you prefer to view the data via the Konsole or the PDF, data will be immediately available too.
