Since Konfir Konnect 2025, we’ve been focused on turning the themes from the day’s roadmap session into real progress across the platform. Hosted by Tom McAuliffe, our Head of Product, the session brought together what we heard from clients at Konnect and how that feedback has shaped what we’ve built since.
A major focus has been on expanding the capabilities of the Verification Waterfall, with Document Processing supporting cases where digital data alone does not provide a complete picture. Since Konnect, that work has been about improving coverage without creating more operational or technical overhead.

A managed Verification Waterfall matters because the complexity is not just connecting to sources, it’s keeping integrations stable as APIs change, normalising inconsistent formats, and maintaining a reliable applicant journey that does not fall back into manual follow-up. That approach helps teams reduce exceptions and keep verification outcomes consistent as volumes grow. For more detail on why this approach matters, read more about our Verification Waterfall here.
We’ve also continued to progress Klarity, our employer matching and stitching engine, which allows instant data to sit inside your referencing workflow, rather than simply bolted on. By improving the precision and explainability of employer matching, Klarity increases verification success rates and unlocks true end-to-end automation - so fewer cases drop into manual handling.

In practice, it means that more instant verifications can be made, with Klarity automatically resolving inconsistencies between declared and verifiable employments caused by items like rebrands, abbreviations, payroll naming conventions, and group structures - providing simple justifications for matches when teams need to review them, keeping applicants in the journey, without unnecessary escalations. For context on why employer matching is difficult and why it matters, read more about employer matching here.
Respond is another area we’ve progressed since Konnect, focused on removing the operational drag and administrative burden of dealing with inbound reference requests. Instead of these requests landing in HR inboxes, creating manual back-and-forth, Respond routes requests through a secure, consent based landing page so verified employment information can be shared in a consistent, compliant way.
For teams, it means less admin, fewer delays, and a much smoother experience for applicants and requestors. Find out how Respond works, and how teams are benefiting from it here.
